How to Use Handier

Everything you need to know about finding work, getting paid, and managing your jobs through the Handier app.

Getting Started

Logging In

  1. Open the Handier App

    Open the app on your phone. If you've been sent an invite link by email, tap that link first to set up your password.

  2. Enter Your Email & Password

    Use the email address you registered with and the password you created during setup.

  3. You're In

    Once logged in, you'll land on your Dashboard where you can see your jobs, earnings, and quick stats at a glance.

New to Handier? If you've received an invite email, follow the link in that email to set up your password. If you haven't received one, contact your admin or sign up through the website.

Your Dashboard

Your Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open the app. It gives you a quick overview of everything that matters.

Active Jobs

See how many jobs you currently have in progress.

Earnings Summary

Quick view of your total earnings, paid and pending amounts.

Notifications Bell

The bell icon (top right) shows your unread notifications. Tap it to see new job assignments, status updates, and more.

Mail Icon (Pro)

The mail icon (top right, next to the bell) takes you straight to your Messages for quick access.

Accepting & Managing Jobs

Pro members get access to company-uploaded jobs (client work arranged by Handier). Here's how to manage them:

  1. Check Available Jobs

    Go to the Jobs tab. Jobs marked as "Available" are open for you to accept.

  2. Review Job Details

    Tap a job card to see full details: location, description, pay rate, tenant contact info, and any attached documents or photos.

  3. Accept the Job

    Tap Accept Job to confirm. The job moves to your active list.

  4. Update Status as You Go

    As you work, update the job status: Started when you begin, Completed when you're done. This keeps everyone informed.

  5. Upload Photos & Documents

    Take photos of completed work or upload invoices directly from the job detail screen. These go straight to the admin for processing.

ID Required: You must have an approved photo ID on file before you can accept any company jobs. Go to your Profile to upload your passport or driving licence if you haven't already.

Tracking Your Earnings

The Earnings tab gives you a complete view of your money.

Total Earned

See your overall earnings at a glance with a breakdown of paid vs pending amounts.

Upcoming Payouts

View pending payments with estimated payout dates (29 days after invoice upload).

Payment History

Full list of all past payments with dates, job details, and amounts.

Stats Overview

Quick stats showing completed jobs count, average rate, and total payouts processed.

Lite Plan users: Your earnings tab shows income from P2P jobs. Keep track of what you're owed and what's been paid.

Your Profile & Documents

Keep your profile up to date so jobs can be assigned to you properly.

What to Set Up

  1. Your Details

    Make sure your name, trade, email, and contact number are correct.

  2. Upload Photo ID

    Upload a clear photo of your passport or driving licence. This is required before you can accept company jobs. You'll see the approval status on your profile: Pending, Approved, or Rejected.

  3. Price List (Optional)

    Upload your rate card or price list so the admin knows your standard rates.

ID Approval: After uploading your ID, it usually gets reviewed within 24 hours on working days. You'll receive a notification once it's been approved.

Notifications

The bell icon in the top-right corner of your Dashboard shows your notification count. Tap it to see all your alerts.

You'll Be Notified About:

New Jobs Posted

When new company jobs are added that match your trade.

Job Assignments

When a job has been specifically assigned to you.

Status Updates

When a job status changes (accepted, started, completed).

ID Approval

When your photo ID has been approved or if there's an issue.

Admin Replies

When the admin responds to one of your messages.

P2P Job Activity

When someone accepts a job you posted, or updates on jobs you've taken.

Find Work

P2P tab → Browse → Accept

Post a Job

P2P tab → Post a Job → Fill details

Message Admin

Messages tab → Tap message → Reply

Check Earnings

Earnings tab → View paid & pending

Upload ID

Profile tab → Upload ID → Wait for approval

Update Job Status

Jobs tab → Tap job → Mark Started/Completed
